From a young age, I have been deeply influenced by the struggles my mother faced with debilitating migraines. I vividly remember her trying to mask her discomfort for my brother and me. The doctor described her condition as one of the worst cases he had ever encountered, leaving us feeling helpless. But everything changed when my mother’s path crossed with chiropractic care. While pursuing a masters degree in city planning at the Georgia Institute of Technology, I saw her experience a profound transformation after a chiropractic adjustment. The relief was immediate and dramatic: her migraines, which had previously plagued her three times a week, diminished to once every few months. Witnessing this remarkable improvement ignited a spark within me—a desire to make a difference in people’s lives just as the chiropractor had made a difference in my mother’s. I left Georgia Tech and enrolled full-time at Life University. It was there that I met Dr. Dragoo, who became not only my mentor but also my partner in life and in a shared mission to advance the practice of chiropractic care. Together we delved into the principles of upper cervical chiropractic and embraced its art, philosophy, and science. My own education has been enriched through involvement in large randomized control studies and as a participant in Spinal Missions, an international non-profit initiative dedicated to providing chiropractic care to underserved communities. I strive to provide gentle, effective care in a compassionate setting. My practice is not just about adjustments; it’s about fostering a space where healing and education go hand in hand. I believe that every patient deserves not only relief but also the knowledge and tools to take charge of their own well-being. The journey that began with my mother’s suffering has become a lifelong dedication to enhancing others’ lives through chiropractic. I am honored to be a part of my patients’ stories, helping them achieve better health and a greater quality of life.

From the age of 5, I struggled with persistent low back pain, frequent headaches, sinus and ear infections, and a weakened immune system. By the time I was 13, my back pain had severely limited my physical activities. My passion for hockey was overshadowed by the constant discomfort, as my back would start aching long before I could even feel fatigued. As a young adult, the situation worsened dramatically. During car rides, I would experience intense lower back spasms within minutes, forcing me to press my fist against my back just to endure the journey. I explored various treatments, including stretching, massage, conventional chiropractic care, and even acupuncture, but none offered more than fleeting relief. My health trajectory changed dramatically when a friend introduced me to upper cervical chiropractic care. At 21, I decided to intern with a local chiropractor near Lansing, Michigan. Although I was initially unfamiliar with his methods, I soon experienced the transformative power of targeting and correcting my Atlas vertebra—the topmost vertebra in the spine, near the base of the skull. Remarkably, after the very first adjustment, my chronic back pain and related health issues improved immensely and swiftly resolved themselves all together. This profound improvement inspired me to become a chiropractor, with a focus on upper cervical chiropractic care. Today, my wife and business partner, Dr. Apatiga, and I run a chiropractic office dedicated to helping patients achieve the best health possible for them. We specialize in precise chiropractic adjustments, personalized at-home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to accelerate healing and prevent repetitive stress on the body. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing the positive changes in our patients’ health and the profound impact on their lives.
