COVID-19 Response: What We Are Doing
1.) As an extra precaution we will be checking everyone’s tympanic (ear) temperature when they enter the reception room and if the temperature is above 100.4 we will ask that you go home and rest (no exceptions).
2.) We have always maintained a very high standard of office hygiene, and we are taking extra precautions during this time. We have increased the frequency of disinfecting our tables, adjusting equipment, and other surfaces around the office. We now have increased the length of time our cleansing solutions remain on each surface. And we have expanded the range and frequency of cleaning other surfaces.
3.) We will be scheduling fewer people per time block to reduce potential exposure and so that we can implement our enhanced hygiene protocol.
4.) We will be wearing gloves and masks and changing our gloves between each patient.
What We Ask You to Do
1.) As you know we strongly believe in promoting the benefit of a healthy nervous system on immune function, but for the sake of the health of all our patients and of our own health, we ask patients with the signs of respiratory illness, fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, and/or sore throat not to visit our clinic and to follow CDC guidelines https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/steps-when-sick.html for best practices in regards to Covid-19. If you meet these criteria and have a scheduled appointment, please call us as soon as possible.
2.) When you come for your appointment, kindly bring your own reading materials because we are no longer providing them in our waiting area.
3.)When you come for your appointment please check in with either Adrian or Adam, we will not offer the patient self check-in service until further notice.
