Our staff is the foundation of our practice. Cathy and Adrian are the first people you’ll meet when visiting our office, and we couldn’t ask for anyone better to create those positive first impressions for our patients.

Growing up, I was a whirlwind of energy, always on the go—bike riding, dancing, climbing, and jumping off anything I could find. My boundless enthusiasm came with a downside, though: I was incredibly accident-prone and clumsy. At 11, I found myself in a car accident with my father. We were sent to a local chiropractor for treatment, but I only attended one session; the high-force cracking and popping left me unsettled. As I grew older, my life became increasingly overshadowed by frequent migraines starting around age 14. Each day by 4 p.m., if I didn’t have a soda or coffee, a migraine would strike, making it hard to focus on school or enjoy my activities. Despite numerous visits to doctors and specialists, they attributed my migraines to hormones and genetics, with no clear answers or relief in sight. The consensus was that it was something I would just have to endure as I aged. At 17, I was in my first car accident. Naive and young, I didn’t seek medical attention, and over the next few years, I found myself in three more accidents, two of them severe. I was in constant pain, with everyone brushing it off as just part of getting older, advising me to take more ibuprofen and move on. By 28, I developed Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome due to a vagus nerve injury. This condition sent me to the ER numerous times each month, made eating and staying hydrated a struggle, and complicated caring for my three young children due to frequent bouts of illness. In my early thirties, during a job interview at a medical office, I discovered they were chiropractors. Terrified and unacquainted with the different types of chiropractic care, I almost walked out. I’m so grateful I didn’t. Starting treatment at Current Chiropractic brought immediate relief. My daily migraines vanished, and my nausea and ER visits decreased to just a few times a year. I realized that chronic pain wasn’t something I had to accept and that I could age gracefully without constant discomfort. Over the past nine years with Current Chiropractic, I’ve seen profound changes not only in my own health but in the lives of many patients. I’ve witnessed an older gentleman dance with his wife for the first time in 20 years, a child who was once deemed unlikely to live a “normal” life now thriving in sports, and teenagers and young adults recovering from major injuries to live pain-free. We’ve had patients who suffered from migraines for days or even weeks experience almost immediate relief after their adjustments. Seeing these transformations has been inspiring, and I look forward to witnessing many more positive improvements in our patients’ lives.

For years, I lived with pain. After two car accidents and numerous falls from skating as a child, my body carried the scars of those moments. As time went on, especially after having my son, the pain became a daily battle. I sought out chiropractors, hoping for relief, but nothing seemed to make a lasting difference. Living with continual back pain felt like a weight I couldn’t shake off. I wanted to be there for my family, but the simplest tasks often felt like mountains to climb. Despite countless visits to chiropractors, my pain remained unresolved. I was losing hope of ever feeling ‘normal’ again.
Then, a friend made a call that changed everything. She told me about Current Chiropractic, a practice that was using a new, gentle technique. Desperate for relief, I decided to give it a try. Nine years ago, I became one of their first patients, and from that day on, my life began to shift. The doctors didn’t just treat my pain—they understood it. They made my health their number one priority, showing compassion and care at every step. Their approach was gentle, but their impact on my life was powerful.
One of the biggest challenges I face daily is living with Multiple Sclerosis. The unpredictability of MS brings a host of difficulties, but thanks to the care I’ve received from Current Chiropractic, I’ve been able to manage those challenges. They’ve kept me pain-free, helped me with my diet, and supported me through some of the most trying moments of my health journey. Today, my mental outlook is more positive than it’s been in years.
I know firsthand the struggles of living with chronic pain and illness. It’s easy to feel defeated when your body doesn’t cooperate. But through my journey with MS and my ongoing care at Current Chiropractic, I’ve learned the power of persistence, trust, and finding the right support. I feel so much better now, both physically and mentally, and that’s something I never thought possible. My story is one of continual healing and hope, and I’m grateful to be on this path.
